Bug Description

Xubuntu 8.04 x64 beta:

Orage and its settings panel kept appearing at startup for some reason, although I closed them and restarted, with save session activated...
I was able to get finally rid of it with 'killall orage' in a terminal and restarting, but I've got no idea why it happened in the first place.

Hi Peroo,

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Unfortunately we can't fix it, because your description didn't include quite enough information. You may find it helpful to read "How to report bugs effectively" [WWW] http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/bugs.html. We'd be grateful if you would then provide a more complete description of the problem.

We have instructions on debugging some types of problems at [WWW] http://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProcedures

At a minimum, we need:
1. the specific steps or actions you took that caused you to encounter the problem,
2. the behavior you expected, and
3. the behavior you actually encountered (in as much detail as possible).
Thanks!

Steps to repeat this problem.
1) Go to settings manager and click on Orage settings
2) From the next restart, it will appear along with the orage settings screen

I expect that only the calender opens each time and not the settings window

Changed in orage:
status: New → Confirmed

Try to remove the plugin, and restart orage from the applications menu, not from the settings menu. You probably need to clean the cache too.
