Bug Description
Binary package hint: totem
Deinterlace and Subtitel and the DVD Menu used to work on Hardy beta.
With one of the upgrades (around mid of April) these features stopped working.
The dvd-film starts right away.
(Tested with multiple dvds european and japanese)

I can confirm this is broken in Hardy as released. It works with totem-xine (using the xine backend, obviously). I'm not sure if that makes it a back-end problem or not, as I wasn't using Hardy beta.
