Bug Description

The `intltool-update --pot` command strips EOL characters from messages in XML files.
This affects \share\extensions\funcplot.inx as the descriptions are extracted without new line characters and this even when translated in .po files are not used in the localised versions of Inkscape.

If one wants to preserve whitespace in XML, they should use xml:space="preserve" on the tag, which is what intltool will respect.

xml:space="preserve" fixes the bug in the following extensions: funcplot, lindenmayer and param_curves.
