effects not working due to python-lxml

inkscape 0.46-0ubuntu2

perspective gives me this error:

The fantastic lxml wrapper for libxml2 is required by inkex.py and therefore this extension. Please download and install the latest version from <http://cheeseshop.python.org/pypi/lxml/>, or install it through your package manager by a command like: sudo apt-get install python-lxml

i have python-lxml installed and i still get the error

This is a missing dependency in the packaging system your're using, please report this bug to the debiam package maintainer.

I just installed inkscape and phython-lxml from debian unstable and it works.

Do you still experience this with the latest official Ubuntu package (0.47.0-2ubuntu3)?

I'll close this bug for now, because I can't reproduce it and we haven't heard back from the original reporter. Please feel free to reopen the report if the bug still exists in the latest version of Inkscape.
