[Hardy] Failed to initialize HAL on 2.6.24-16-generic

Booting on kernel 2.6.24-16, on gnome start message : Failed to initialize HAL !

Seem related to https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/dbus/+bug/25931 but this bug is mark as Fixed.

dmesg give me some unusuals bugs messages (about modprobe and hald).

The same bug. Plus long hang-like delay (~1 minute) during startup.
Seems like regression to me. Switching back to kernel 2.6.24-14 removes delay and everything works perfectly.

Blacklisting module saa7134 fixed the problem for me, no more delay and hal failure.

Confirmed, blacklisting module saa7134 fixed the problem for me also. So it seems related with

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-ubuntu-modules-2.6.24/+bug/212271

and I think there's a solution already.
