Bug Description
I did the update this morning Sat, April 12 and it updated the kernel I think and when I rebooted the computer it came up to a blank screen at full resolution and I could move my mouse but that was it. Then it flashed very quickly a message that stated Nautilus failed to load. I then rebooted and selected the old kernel 2.6.24-15-generic.

This is a mistake.
The problem kernel is 2.6.24-16-386
The kernel 2.6.24-16-generic works fine. For some reason the updater decided to put the 386 kernel first and my setup wouldn't work with it. I don't know now if this is a bug or not since I don't use that kernel.
