Binary package hint: ltsp-server-standalone

Specifying LDM_DIRECTX=true in lts.conf causes X to break. Clients won't boot to ldm

Description: Ubuntu hardy (development branch)
Release: 8.04

ltsp-server-standalone is 5.0.40~bzr20080212-0ubuntu5

This lts.conf works:
[Default]

adding bsdmainutils to ldm dependencies makes it start up properly, there is a second issue with adding the xauth cookie to the session on login though.

This bug was fixed in the package ldm - 5.0.40~bzr20080212-0ubuntu4

---------------
ldm (5.0.40~bzr20080212-0ubuntu4) hardy; urgency=low

  * (LP: #215727)
    - make sure we hand over the ip for xauth if LDM_DIRECTX is set,
      since LDMINFO_IPADDR is not exported by this ldm version yet.
    - add dependency on bsdmainutils to make hexdump available.
