Firefox stores cookies incorrectly

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

When I logon to ubuntuforums.org the first time everything works fine. If I exit Firefox and restart Firefox then go to the same website, the logon does not work correctly. If I clear the cookies and retry to logon to the website everything works perfect. I have verified this is a Firefox problem and not a website problem by accessing the website with a different browser.

After further research I found a solution. I had to delete my Firefox profile and allow Firefox recreate it. Once I did that everything seems to be functioning correctly.
