Bug Description

Binary package hint: pidgin

I have a laptop with an external monitor. When I position the buddy list window to the edge of my main monitor, everything works fine. However if I click the X to reduce the window to the system tray and bring it back up, it will go to the edge of the main laptop screen and not the external monitor. I am unsure if this is expected behavior for fear that the external monitor will be removed and the buddy list would be lost off the screen of the laptop.

Is this symptom still reproducible in 8.10 or 9.04?

No. The problem went away after the update. Thanks for the follow up.
