Inkscape 0.46. The header of the window disappears

Bug Description

Ubuntu 8.04 beta, Inkscape 0.46 -> install from repo. vga: nvidia 5500

If the compiz runs:
If I click you are in the course of the window or the toolbar, the header of the window disappears then.
Onto a newer mouse click comes back.
The window is hopping up and down, Inkscape unusable.

If the compiz does not run:
It inkscape onto a full screen which cannot be claimed.

Same issue here. Inkscape 0.46 and Ubuntu 8.04 final release. With compiz (and emerald) running, Inkscape cannot be used as the toolbar keeps appearing and disappearing everytime a click is made anywhere in the window.

If I change to Metacity, everything works normally.

Just wanted to add that this behavior is not seen with any other application. All others work perfectly. Its only seen for Inkscape.

The problem exists, if the Compiz runs.
If does not run, inkscape onto a full screen which cannot be claimed.

There is not a change unfortunately.

Yes. I can confirm that the problem still exists in Inkscape 0.46 on Ubuntu Intrepid

The problem does not exist already! Thanks!
But: maximize window button is out of order (with and without compiz).
It is possible to scale a window, so that the trouble not big.
