Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Could you try with Intrepid? Thanks in advance.

 It's working ok now.  I'm a music producer and I'm trying to get my m-audio fire wire sound card to work in Ubuntu.  I don't know if there's a specific driver.  I just got thru beta testing the vista 64 bit drivers.  I wonder if there's a wrap.  Also, I use Audasity but I wonder if there are any new sound recording apps that need beta testing.  I'll download Intrepid now.
