Problem with clear private data

DISTRIB_CODENAME=gutsy

2) # dpkg -l | grep -i firefox
ii firefox 2.0.0.13+1nobinonly-0ubuntu0.7.10 lightweight web browser based on Mozilla
ii firefox-gnome-support 2.0.0.13+1nobinonly-0ubuntu0.7.10 Support for Gnome in Mozilla Firefox
ii mozilla-firefox-locale-en-gb 2.0.0.7+1-0ubuntu2 Mozilla Firefox English language/region packag
ii ubufox 0.4~beta1-0ubuntu6 modifications for ubuntu firefox (default) ins
3) I've configured my firefox to clear all private data when I close it.I've configured it on Edit/Preferences/Privacy and I click in "Always clear my private data when I close Firefox". I've pushed Settings and mark all of items as showed in attachment.
4) The problem is if I'm logged in gmail account for example, and I close Firefox. When I re-open firefox my account appears logged in. Probably the cookies aren't cleared.

When logging in to gmail did you use the save my login info or remember me option? Did you log out before than restart firefox them visit gmail.com and see if it clears it this time? Is this reproducible with latest firefox 2.0 in Gutsy version is at 2.0.0.15*

John,
this didn't occur any more. I'm using Firefox 3.0 and clear private data
works fine now.

But answering your question... When I close Firefox, I didn't logout in
gmail. I only close the window of firefox. And after that when I start again
Firefox, gmail open without authentication, saving cookies, sessions and all
data, ready to use gmail without authentication. Such as I don't configure
to clear all private data.

Tks! But now in Firefox 3 it's perfect!
