Bug Description

Test with moblin-applet v0.50.1 on crownbeach

Reproduce steps:
1. launch date/time settings
2. change time setting and close date/time settings UI
3. The status bar shows new time settings
4. reboot
After reboot, the "time" show on status bar is still old settings.
I go to date/time settings to check the "time setting", it is still the old settings.

I double checked the issue in moblin-applets 0.52, cannot reproduce it.
Change date/time in GUI and command line by "sudo date -s xx/xx/xxxx", "sudo date -s xx:xx:xx", then reboot PC, all scenarios work well.

I upgrade moblin-applets v0.52 on 3 devices.
Only one device has the error message I mentioned above.
For the machine has been upgraded to v0.52, the date/time can be saved now.

This isn't a bug. When you are connected to the network, the ntpdate command is called which sets the time to the network time. See this bug:

https://bugs.launchpad.net/moblin-applets/+bug/211021

I saw the issue a couple weeks back and thought it was a bug initially. I added this wishlist item for a toggle on the date/time dialog that could disable ntpdate. Please verify that the behavior you're seeing only occurs when connected to the network. Also please combin this and the wishlist item into something viable (assuming the wishlist item isn't what you want).
