Bug Description

Binary package hint: devede

I was converting an avi (300 mb) to mpeg (700 mb) and adding subtitles when it crashes, first time I use devede in ubuntu 8.04 and first time it crashes.
I did't notice when it crash but I think it was to soon to be adding de subtitles, so it crashed converting de avi.

After one or two uses of DeVeDe in the 8.10 version, no such bug...(yet)

Hi Daniel,

Sorry, it took me a bit to remember this.

I don't know. After F-Spot Crashed (subsequent to DeVeDee and for unrelated reasons) I took Ubuntu 8.04 LTS off my hardware because I had to recover a lot from backups. It seemed that "stuff" frequently broke after system updates, probably my fault, but it was getting frustrating. I am glad I got separate, external disks that I started to use for backup reasons, but unfortunately i did not backup frequently enough, as I still lost some photos...

I haven't tried  since, as I was able to get my project done in Windoze Movie Maker. Sorry!
