Bug Description

System installation crashes, reporting unknown problem near the end of the installation. I tried booting both from EFI and grub2, using YUMI as my installation platform.

I'm on Microsoft Surface Pro 7, on this device I already had ubuntu a few months ago but it crashed after I tried to install touchscreen drivers. Since then I didn't try to install it, now I'm using the same medium as last time when it worked. Right now I'm using the "Try Ubuntu" option and it works correctly.

Thank you for your bug report. Could you add the logs from/var/log/installer after getting the problem?

Changed in ubuntu-desktop-provision:
status: New → Incomplete

Here are all the .log files from /var/log/installer

PS it failed to send them all in a zip archive so here they are each on its
own
