Do you have the gcc-12 compiler, needed for the 6.5 kernel? Does the Nvidia build work for an older compiler in the 5.15 or 5.19 series? Does a newer Nvidia driver (535, 545, 550) build?

It turned out I did need 12, and it was installed, but the system was set
to default use of 11. Changed system default and all ran fine. Thanks for
