Bug Description

The Ubuntu Error Tracker has been receiving reports about a problem regarding subiquity. This problem was most recently seen with package version 5548, the problem page at https://errors.ubuntu.com/problem/b81423d433761171afcc1051ab81d372f32fd8f1 contains more details, including versions of packages affected, stacktrace or traceback, and individual crash reports.
