Bug Description

The Ubuntu Error Tracker has been receiving reports about a problem regarding subiquity. This problem was most recently seen with package version 5597, the problem page at https://errors.ubuntu.com/problem/fbc6f8b5aa24d28f4501ca1ce8a5b3c3cd24705b contains more details, including versions of packages affected, stacktrace or traceback, and individual crash reports.
