Trying to install Noble in GNOME Boxes, I just got "Installation failed" in the GUI.

I got the installation to complete by manually `grub-install --target x86_64`ing from the target chroot. It tried to do `i386-pc` by default and failed at it not being available.

Hello Michal and thank you for your report.

It looks like the latest grub2 upload introduced a regression. I opened a bug report earlier today and it has been acknowledged. The progress is being tracked in bug 2055294.
