Bug Description
Hi,
I recently purchased a laptop : HP ZBook Firefly 16 inch G10 Mobile Workstation PC with Windows 11 preinstalled.
I installed a partition Ubuntu 22.04 on this laptop.
Everything works fine except that the Intel Wireless card does not show up.
The Wireless card model is : Intel(R) Wifi 6E AX211 160 Mhz
I tried to load the driver manually :
root@zbook-steph:~# modprobe iwlwifi
root@zbook-steph:~# lsmod | grep iwlwifi
iwlwifi 450560 0
cfg80211 974848 1 iwlwifi
[ 249.611893] cfg80211: Loading compiled-in X.509 certificates for regulatory database
[ 249.612024] cfg80211: Loaded X.509 cert 'sforshee: 00b28ddf47aef9cea7'
[ 249.621717] Intel(R) Wireless WiFi driver for Linux
The Wifi module loads in the kernel, I have no error messages but the card still does not show up :
iw list
<empty>
I tried to disable all security features in the BIOS (Secure Boot, TPM, etc.) but this does not change anything.
Thanks,
Stéphane
Hello,
This project is only for issues with the Ubuntu One Single Sign-On service, and the problem you describe does not seem to be directly with the sign-on service. Further, the problem you describe is not a bug but probably a support request, so here are some pointers for the correct places to get help:
If you need help with general Ubuntu issues you have two main choices.
The first is to rely on free support provided by the Ubuntu community. For this please visit https:/ /www.ubuntu. com/support/ community- support or post your questions directly in http:// askubuntu. com/ or https:/ /ubuntuforums. org/.
The second if you're looking for commercial-grade support, is to check out Canonical's support offerings for Ubuntu at https:/ /www.ubuntu. com/support.
I hope this helps you find a solution to your issue.
Regards,
- Shane
