On Ubuntu 24.04 LTS x86_64, attempting to run snap-store from the Dash (listed as "App Center" on the Dash), there is a brief pause and then a large white window appears and then disappears.
To get any information about what was going on, I had to run snap-store at the command-line.

Note: This occurs when using Wayland. To fix this, get to the Ubuntu login screen, click on the cog-like icon at the bottom right of the screen and select "Ubuntu on Xorg". Then login and at this point, the App Center began working.
