Hello,
For some time now, every time I try to update (refresh) the packages in the "Synaptic Package Manager", I get the following error messages:
1. Failed to download all index files
2. The repository no longer seems to be available or cannot be contacted due to network problems. If an older index file exists, it will be used. Otherwise, the repository will be ignored. Check your network connection and correct the repository address in the preferences.
3. The https://ppa.launchpadcontent.net/nilarimogard/webupd8/ubuntu jammy Release repository has no Release file.

Despite my efforts to repair and update the system, I can't solve the problem.

My computer is a Why! and runs ubuntu 22.04.

There have been no updates for several years now. In fact that PPA hasn't been updated for anything newer than the hirsute or 21.04 release so synaptic is unable to find any packages for your jammy or 22.04 release.

You need to remove that PPA from your sources.

I'm closing this as 'Invalid' as there is nothing for the Ubuntu developers to fix.

Please do not try to use the WebUpd8 PPA as it is no longer being updated for recent releases of Ubuntu.

The link that I gave you shows that it hasn't been updated for some time. No point in waiting as I think that the WebUpd8 project is no more. You should *remove* that PPA from your sources and then the errors will go away.
