Bug Description

Lubuntu mantic install on
- hp dc7700 (c2d-e6320, 8gb amd/ati rv610/radeon hd2400 pro/xt)

I didn't expect issues... My internet is flaky (so I'll need to check that wasn't the cause) given a full disk install without encryption, but installed reported failure..
(Note install mostly worked; booted & looked good)

old legacy BIOS box

INSTALLED ABENDED (abnormal-end)

---
Command <i>calamares-logs-helper /tmp/calamares-root-nbye456p</i> finished with exit code 1.
Output:
+ root=/tmp/calamares-root-nbye456p
+ install_dir=/tmp/calamares-root-nbye456p/var/log/installer
+ [ -d /tmp/calamares-root-nbye456p/var/log/installer ]
+ mkdir -p /tmp/calamares-root-nbye456p/var/log/installer
+ cp /root/.cache/calamares/session.log /tmp/calamares-root-nbye456p/var/log/installer/debug
cp: cannot stat '/root/.cache/calamares/session.log': No such file or directory
---

on reboot; the system booted & auto-logged in (I used that option I believe so expected)... the installed system looked good actually !!

general look at file-system, and it looks like a valid install HOWEVER not all is there; /var/log/installer/ is EMPTY so no mediainfo for me to check etc... installer didn't complete tasks

I wasn't worried following a testcase; so I didn't pay much attention to what I picked..
I wanted a fresh install for other testing (related to beta)

(possibly duplicate... on that install there was no internet; though I had internet during boot; i checked install type I was doing THEN disconnected internet before starting installer)

I just did a couple of install test on VM

Both menu items of today's mantic daily - http://iso.qa.ubuntu.com/qatracker/milestones/446/builds/287466/testcases/1701/results/

The "Install Lubuntu 23.10" worked perfectly

The "Install System" ended with this issue..

You do realize .home.lubuntu..cache.calamares.session.log.txt is attached right? ;)

Can you still reproduce this?
