Bug Description

In latest python-wxgtk2.6 (2.6.3.2.2-2ubuntu3) in Hardy, python bindings depends on python-2.4, instead of python2.4 and later (as said in changelog), which causes it to install a non-needed package on upgrade or install.

This bug was fixed in the package wxwidgets2.6 - 2.6.3.2.2-2ubuntu4

---------------
wxwidgets2.6 (2.6.3.2.2-2ubuntu4) hardy; urgency=low

  * debian/control.in: set back XS-Python-Version to all so that python
packages depend on python2.5 and not python2.4 (LP: #203266)
