Bug Description

Binary package hint: easycrypt

EasyCrypt 0.2.2.6 only works with TrueCrypt 4.3a - this is not built (by the authors) for Hardy

The new version 5.x (currently 5.1a) is built and now does not need to be re-made for each new kernel

EasyCrypt 0.2.2.8 supports TrueCrypt 4.3a, 5.1, 5.1a and attempts to be compatible with future releases, you also get a sensible message if you have the non-command line interface version of TrueCrypt (5.0)

I am the Upstream author of EasyCrypt and have tested it on several machines (both Gutsy & Hardy)

Yes - as 0.2.2.7 was not ever got to, this build includes the diff from 0.2.2.6-0.2.2.8 so we can simply close 0.2.2.7 as it never got actioned.

Since this is a new upstream version, you need a Feature Freeze exception: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/FreezeExceptionProcess.
