Bug Description
Binary package hint: nautilus
I am using Ubuntu Hardy installed as Alpha 6 and updated as of today (new setup).
Trying to see all the new Gnome icons, I opened /usr/share/icons, but I did found an ugly regression from Gutsy: the preview is always done resizing the image to the default setting, even if it is little.
Steps to reproduce:
1. open nautilus
2. go to /usr/share/
3. open a folder
What I used to see: every icon was "previewed" in original size (without any border, but that's another matter)
What I see: all the previews are generated from the icons in the default size for every image (96x96, if I recall correctly)
I know the previews are prettier than before (in general), but in the process I think someone forgot to "blacklist" generation of previews from small images that can be shown without any "thumbnailing".
