Bug Description

Binary package hint: pidgin

I have a GTalk account enabled. That same GTalk account is also on my buddy list. If I send myself a message on Pidgin to that GTalk account, I do see the echo'd response in the chat window, but a fraction of a second later there Pidgin crashes. There are no messages at all concerning the crash, Pidgin just leaves me at the desktop.

Requested info:

I don't know and I can't check it now (OS not currently installed), but
thanks for taking notice!
