Bug Description
Hi,
if dock transparency is set to DYNAMIC,
dock opacity is triggered by DING extension in Wayland.
Works as expected under Xorg, dock background stays transparent while DING is enabled.
Not the first time this happens ( https:/
I can see that issue on many installations / machines running Ubuntu 22.04 LTS.
If of any interest, other gnome shell extensions ( transparent top bar, dash to panel ) are not impacted by this issue. So far.

Bug 1981837 was never fixed in 22.04 so it's still the same bug.
