Bug Description
Snaps are not seeding on Edubuntu seeds.
The Edubuntu desktop-gnome seed currently calls for snap:chromium. However, this does not even attempt to get seeded according to any logs. For now, this should at least cause an error that a stable/ubuntu-23.10 track has not been opened, but no such error occurs.
It's conceivable that it's only seeding snaps from the ubuntu-

The BASE_SEED was not specified for edubuntu in livecd-rootfs, so it was defaulting to 'desktop'. Since you are including ubuntu, this points at the ubuntu desktop seed; but you needed desktop-gnome.
I've uploaded this change to mantic-proposed.
However. The third-party repository requirements, in the process of being finalized at <https:/ /docs.google. com/document/ d/1apUKR4gtOrfP GCWmtoebaQUhoy- fG8Cyo3VKJyhnpD 0/edit#>, apply to all Ubuntu flavor images. The chromium snap does not comply with these policies, and you should not be seeding it. In practice it will fail to be installed anyway because the necessary per-Ubuntu-release channel does not exist for this snap in the snap store, so this will actually become a build failure now for Edubuntu and you will need to remove the chromium snap from your seed. But even if this were not the case, you may not seed chromium in edubuntu.
