1. This is not a serious policy issue (severity: serious) but an
important bug (severity: important).

2. The problem is a syntax error in the "for" list, in which the last
item contains a backslash when it shouldn't.

3. Look at bug # 323854 for a patch/workaround until this is fixed in
the package.

I independntly fixed this in 2.71 before seeing this bug report.
