I can't reproduce the problem.
Btw, is this problem also reproducible with the upstream theme?

The bug is still present after all the latest updates.

It occurs in both Wayland and Xorg sessions.
It occurs at both scale 100% and 200%.
It does not occur with the upstream theme.

Everything from the volume slider and below is moving so maybe those elements are different sizes between dark and light themes?

This was in lunar at some point, perhaps still is. But it's masked by bug 2011782 at the moment.

gnome-shell 44's redesign seems to have provided a workaround so lunar isn't waiting on a Yaru update for this anymore.
