Bug Description
Without the package libssl-dev, attempting to make a connection via SSL gives the error: "Unable to load OpenSSL library files: libssl.so and libcrypto.so"
The package doesn't require or suggest these packages, as they are needed for this functionality they should be required.

SSL support was removed some time ago due to a missing OpenSSL exception to the GPL Licence. This exception has since been added, and SSL support will therefore be added to the next upload to Debian.
