Plank doesn't honor changes in screen height

Bug Description
Plank version: 0.11.89
Ubuntu 21.10 (impish)
gnome-shell, under Xorg
Installed plank with `apt install plank`
I use laptop with a docking station. When docked, the display switches to a connected monitor having a diffrent resolution.
On doing so, plank dock stays little higher from bottom, wasting all space below.
It maintains position even if switched between Left / Bottom using preferences.
Restarting plank solves the issue, but it should adapt to display changes.
