Bug Description
Steps to reproduce:
* Open a game (splitgate shows the problem, it is free-to-play on Steam)
* Alt-tab out of the game
* Try to come back to the game
Result: The games gains focus for only a second and then is again minimized to dash.
The problem goes away if the default Desktop Icons NG extension is disabled.
I am running Ubuntu 21.10 beta using Mesa on a Radeon 5500XT, using Wayland.

Sounds like the game is minimizing itself, which might be a bug in the toolkit it uses and shares with other games.
Can you find any affected app that doesn't involve setting up Steam?
