Bug Description

This happens with both 40.2-1ubuntu2 and 40.2-1ubuntu3. Before uploading the latter I could successfully build for ppc64el in PPA, though.

From the build log:

I'm not aware of ppc64 being expected to work, but it appears the binaries can build. Sounds like some test cases need to be skipped??

It has built for ppc64el previously — as late as 40.2-1ubuntu1 in July. But then something happened in impish-proposed (the issue has nothing to do with your latest patches) which prevents migration.

Yeah, maybe skip that test for ppc64el...

Gunnar, I was able to build gnome-shell with tests successfully on ppc64el so I reverted your commit in the ubuntu/master branch.
