Confirming. Does not seem of high importance right now, but should be an easy fix.

The attached debdiff fixes the deprecated 'warn' keyword, changing it to 'warning'. I also checked for the other depricated keywords mentioned in the syslog.conf manual page, but there weren't any.

I checked there is no regression. I installed the new version and using the logger tool I made sure the 3 syslog.conf rules I touched still work as before.

I will subscribe ubuntu-main-sponsors, hoping it can be sponsored.

Full changelog entry for this change:

sysklogd (1.5-2ubuntu2) intrepid; urgency=low

  * debian/syslog.conf: replace 'warn' (deprecated) with 'warning'
    (LP: #193109).
  * debian/control: upgrade Standards-Version to 3.8.0.

Mouz,
did you assign it to yourself yet?

Jad, I'm not sure what you mean. It is obviously not assigned to anyone, so also not to me :) Maybe you want to remember me I should assign it to myself? I believe I shouldn't: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/SponsorshipProcess, which I use as a guide, says in section 'Sponsoring': "Do not assign a bug to anyone if it needs sponsorship.".
