Autopkgtests started failing in the release pocket:

I'm not just updating the package to the new upstream release because Debian is in freeze and the new release contains a lot of new embedded files which need to be checked/excluded.

I discussed that with Balint on IRC and it seems currently the package isn't in a usable state - so it feels like it's a good idea to remove it for now at least. Proceeding.
