Bug Description
[Impact]
For every release, we always bumped choose-mirror's defaults to the current series. Last time this was done for focal. So right now the groovy installer uses 'focal' as the defaults.
We no longer ship choose-mirror in the archive but instead vendorize it inside ubiquity.
It's hard for me to assess what's the impact of this, but as it was done with every release (and was missed this time by mistake), we should make sure it's done properly.
[Test Case]
Build the ubiquity package and make sure that the right choose-mirror version is used during build.
There is no more specific test case we could run. A test installation using the new ubiquity could be performed to make sure everything is done properly (and us using the right mirrors etc.).
[What could go wrong]
There is not much regression potential with this change, as this upload only modifies one vendored package - choose-mirror. The change only affects 2 files (header used during build and some debconf templates) - and those can't really affect many components. Running a successful install should provide enough regression coverage.
[Original Description]
We missed this step in the release process, let's backport a fix for it now.

If this package fixes the bug for you, please add a comment to this bug, mentioning the version of the package you tested, what testing has been performed on the package and change the tag from verification- needed- groovy to verification- done-groovy. If it does not fix the bug for you, please add a comment stating that, and change the tag to verification- failed- groovy. In either case, without details of your testing we will not be able to proceed.
