Bug Description

I've installed ubuntu groovy in a VMware machine without selecting the easy install mode, and without requesting to install drivers automatically during setup.

Once logged in, I tried to install the vmware drivers from software updates, but this is not enabled:

If I launch `sudo ubuntu-drivers install` from a terminal, the drivers gets correctly installed (and working) instead (and UI adapts things well afterwards https://i.imgur.com/BLMk5Og.png):

$ sudo ubuntu-drivers install
