Once logged in, I tried to install the vmware drivers from software updates, but this is not enabled: https://i.imgur.com/MyESY7P.png If I launch `sudo ubuntu-drivers install` from a terminal, the drivers gets correctly installed (and working) instead: $ sudo ubuntu-drivers install [sudo] password for marco: Reading package lists...
