Hi,

What is the output if you manually install the same package?

And instead of quaitting, did you try continue the installation?
What is the behaviour?

Please let me know.

Hello,
I solved this problem by workaround, which I found during my trial/error
attempts. I compiled and installed package from tgz, then I installed older
GUI packages from Ubuntu repository, and run commandline hp-setup for
install missing plugin. Now, I have "mixed" hplip on the computer, but I am
finally able printing and scanning on my old good HP Color LaserJet
CM2320mfp . I hope full featured and working version of hplip for Ubuntu
20.04 will be released soon.

Best regards,
Michal Kysel
