All of them but not snap (gnome-software ) has the same issue:
1- Some time from Terminal shell command apt,
2- or just click on update manager
3- or Synaptic
4- gnome-software does not have delay time of others, but doesn't have
complete inventory of software (list) either.,

reassigning to apt if that's an issue with deb software, could you perhaps do a short video showing the issue? could you explain what is being slow exactly, is it the download? did you try using another mirror or check your internet connection?
affects: | gnome-shell (Ubuntu) → apt (Ubuntu) |

1. Can you benchmark your disk(s) with the 'Disks' app and/or 'hdparm -t' and tell us what their speed is?
2. Please run this command to watch and check nothing is flooding the system log while it is slow:
journalctl -f
3. Please try uninstalling/

Please also reboot, reproduce the problem again, and then while it is slow produce a fresh system log:
journalctl -b0 > journal.txt
and attach the resulting text file here.

Thanks. It looks like your system log has hundreds of megabytes of mostly microk8s messages like:
microk8s.
Please try disabling microk8s if you can, and/or run 'top' and 'iotop' to find out which processes are using the most CPU and disk bandwidth.

Thank you for your bug report. How do you install/ upgrade/ uninstall software? Is that using snap store, update-manager, apt on the command line? Which steps are having the delays?
