Bug Description

The volume up/down (fn-f5 and fn-f6) and enable bluetooth (fn-f12) do not work. Tried both kernels available (5.4 and 5.8) with the same results. The only fn keys that appear to work are brightness (fn-f8 and fn-9) and airplane mode (fn-f11) The problem does not occur in 20.04 (kernel 5.4) on the same laptop, all function keys work.

Forgot to mention some Hot Keys don't work either. Launch a terminal (ctl-alt-t) and launch the calculator (ctl-alt-c) not functioning.

I'm also affected, although brightness keys don't work for me.

But neither does the brightness slider have any effect on the dropdown in Gnome 3.37.90

Looks like the problem is corrected with the new updates on 9/11/20. Function keys work and the alt-ctl-t and alt-ctl-c also work.

@afsverissimo,

You may want to file another bug for your brightness problem which may have different root cause and thus different required information.

The brightness was corrected at the same time as the fix release for the multimedia keys.
