Bug Description

The symfony package currently FTBFS using the latest PHP7.4 version on groovy-proposed (7.4.9-1ubuntu1) due to a patch that is being applied in order to adjust a testcase in order to workaround an unknown failure that was happening with an earlier version of PHP7.4.

The patch is d/p/VarDumper-Update-currently-broken-assertion.patch, and was included in version 4.4.9-1. php7.4-7.4.9-1ubuntu1 contains several fixes related to array manipulation, which is exactly what the patch touches. As it turns out, we don't need it anymore because the test passes normally now.

I'm working on a fix and will post it soon.

This bug was fixed in the package symfony - 4.4.11+dfsg-1ubuntu1

---------------
symfony (4.4.11+dfsg-1ubuntu1) groovy; urgency=medium

  * d/p/VarDumper-Update-currently-broken-assertion.patch: Remove
    patch; not needed anymore because the test now passes correctly
    with the latest php7.4, which contains several fixes touching
    array manipulations (LP: #1893128).
