Clear History doesn't clear history of downloads

Binary package hint: epiphany-browser

If I select "Clear History" from either the History menu or Preferences->Privacy it removes the browsing history, but
~/.gnome2/epiphany/mozilla/epiphany/places.sqlite (when dumped) still contains the history related to downloads.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Could you try to reproduce the same with Ubuntu 8.10 or 9.04? Thanks in advance.

There is no History menu nor Clear History in Preferences/Privacy, but after accessing the History Window from the Go Menu->History or the Ctrl+H key shortcut, History can be Cleared with Edit->Clear History.
