Bug Description

Binary package hint: nautilus

This is in hardy updated to last nautilus version.

Usually, if i insert a SD card in my laptop's internal card reader and try to delete any file, nautilus moves it silently to the trascan.

However, If by error the inserted card is protected, nautilus warns against it displaying that the file cannot be moved to the trash. Obvious because a move action involves a delete action and the card is protected son no delete is possible.

Anyway the message dialog has to problems, the first one being that it show two buttons asking to the user if the file should be deleted, or all selected files in protected media should be deleted. Obviously, if the move to trash action could not be done because of the protection, the deletion is also being impossible to do.

Thank you for your bug report. What locale do you use? Do you still get the issue? The filename is correctly displayed on my hardy installation

That's an upstream translation issue

#: ../libnautilus-private/nautilus-file-operations.c:1517
msgid "The file \"%B\" cannot be moved to the trash."
msgstr "El archivo «%s» no se puede mover a la papelera."

Reported to upstream translator and now fixed upstream also.
