Bug Description
patch to add new pencil toolbar.
A problem still exists, because the tolerance control in the prefs window doesn't listen
for changes.

Would it be possible to rename Tolerance into "Smooth" by the way? It would sound less technical and more intuitive to users. In any case, any additional smoothing would have to be done by implementing your other feature:
