Bug Description

Ubuntu-only package with no rdeps. We're shipping a very outdated version (see #1571019) that FTBFS, and the package is not being actively maintained.

Looks like was put into Ubuntu by previous Kubuntu team members, but not then supported. I am in favour of removal as I do not intend to update this to current 1.4.7 and support that.

I not their website also supplied Ubuntu debs, that there is a flatpak, and an android app version in the play store. This may also be a good candidate to 'snap' if it is really wanted.

So please remove src and binaries from Groovy archive. release and ftbfs in proposed.
