package bzip2-doc failed to install: confusing INFO-DIR-ENTRY in file

This is from either an "aptitude dist-upgrade" from gutsy --> hardy, (I removed the package to make the upgrade possible) or from doing the installation now from an updated hardy box with "aptitude install bzip2-doc".

I will attach my sources.list file and crash log.

I believe this is not related to https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/bzip2/+bug/187946 , despite the comment posted there -- this appears to be two different root causes.

However, upon looking at the attached log file, it looks like case https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/bzip2/+bug/184831 DOES have the same root cause as this case, so this case should probably be resolved as a dupe of that one.
