Bug Description

Binary package hint: evolution

I got this crash when i tried to display an email
On the console I saw

(evolution:12067): camel-WARNING **: Trying to check junk data is OBJECT 'CamelObject'

camel-CRITICAL **: camel_object_is: assertion `check_magic(o, ctype, CAMEL_OBJECT_MAGIC)' failed
aborting...
Trace/breakpoint trap (core dumped)

I think apport has included the core file

1) hardy
2) evolution 2.21.90-0ubuntu1
3) crashed when i expected it to show me the email in the preview pane.

I've got the same problem but when sending e-mail. I've tried to investigate if it's connected with preview pane - I think it's not (of course in my case)

Oh, I've forgotten to add that I do not have any problems with evolution when running evolution under valgrind or strace.

you can unset G_DEBUG to workaround the crash, gnome-session was setting it to trigger crashes on warning which is something upstream do to get warning bugs but ubuntu doesn't usually, gnome-session has been changed in hardy again to stop doing that now

After last open-session package update everything works fine. There is
no bug anymore for me.
